Yellow crystalline CLV3181

DESCRIPTION
The yellow colored glaze from the CLV series has a transparent, glossy finish. When used preferably on white biscuits, it is perfect for accentuating bas-relief effects and engravings thanks to the different color concentrations resulting from variations in thickness. Application must take into account the biscuit's expansion coefficient, its porosity, the firing cycle, and the type of oven. This colored transparent glaze, if used directly on biscuits, must be applied in a sufficiently thick layer.

Preparation – Application – Firing: Dilute the glaze with water, initially in the ratio of 1 kg powder: 0.7 liters of water. After soaking for a few hours (24 hours is recommended), mix well and sift before use. If necessary, add water until the ideal density is achieved for the substrate. All glazes can be mixed together and with white or colored glazes to customize the color and gloss of the surfaces. Before application, the biscuit must be fired at a higher temperature than the one set for the second firing. The application can be done carefully by dipping, making sure there are no drips. Airbrush application for professional use only. Firing temperature: 920–930°C.
